Why 100% outdoor outdoor cushions?
Des coussins 100 % outdoor vont pouvoir sécher rapidement. Cela va vous permettre de les utiliser sur une période beaucoup plus grande que les coussins extérieurs déperlants. Le concept est celui des coussins nautiques : on utilise une mousse à cellules ouvertes qui ne retient pas l'eau. Les housses sont confectionnées avec un revêtement déperlant (sur le dessus et les cotés) et leur fond est en grille souple (comme une moustiquaire). Ainsi on permet au coussin de sécher toujours rapidement.

To fully utilize the effectiveness of these 100% outdoor cushions, the support on which they are installed must allow rapid evacuation of water, such as wooden slats. A smooth concrete or tiled bottom will slow down the evacuation of water. If the bottom is slightly cupped, water may remain "stuck" under the cushion, which in any case will not damage it.

Maintenance of 100% outdoor outdoor cushions
We will mainly use 2 ranges of coverings: exterior fabrics or Batyline Eden or Elios.
For outdoor fabrics made of acrylic, you can remove the covers from the cushions and machine wash them at 30°. We recommend washing them at the end of the season even if they have no stains. This will help clean them from air pollution. If you take care of your cushions you will keep them for a very long time (more than 15 years). For small stains, you can directly rub the stain with water and Marseille soap, then rinse the cushion with a jet of water.
For outdoor cushions made from Batyline (Eden or Elios), you will directly wash your cushions with a water jet. Use a soft brush and Marseille soap, then rinse.
For several years, 80% of our sales of outdoor cushion or mattress projects have been made of nautical foam to benefit from this water resistance. All our professional customers take this quality, especially for sun lounger cushions that are heavily exposed to water.
The only drawback we can find to this solution is that the cushions are not reversible. The soft grid bottom (white or black) will not allow the cushion to be turned over to use the other side.
If you want ease of use, not to run as soon as it starts to rain, then 100% outdoor cushions are made for you.
